We are reintroducing the Sunflower Kids Wrestling Club to the Lawrence area. This club will be for all children from the ages of 5 thru their senior year of High School.
There will be a parent informational meeting on:
Thursday, November 19th, at 7:00pm
Lawrence High School Cafeteria
1901 Louisiana Street, Lawrence, KS
This meeting will probably last one hour, where we can introduce ourselves, let you know about the club, what the costs area, and some fundraising opportunities to defer the costs. The start of practices will be December 14th, 2009.
Coaches: Anyone interested in coaching wrestling for the Sunflower Kids Club this upcoming year, we will have a coaches meeting immediately after the parent meeting.

Sunflower Kids Wrestling Club will be hosting a week long clinic to teach any youth the very basics of wrestling to introduce them to this great sport. The clinic will only be for kids from the ages of 5 thru the 6th grade with no previous wrestling experience.
There will be a sign-up for this at a parents meeting for the club to be held in the Lawrence High school cafeteria on November 19th, at 7:00pm.
The dates of the clinic will be Monday, December 7th, 8th, 9th, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, at Lawrence High School, West Gym wrestling room, 1901 Louisiana Street. Then we will be attending the Lawrence High School home dual meet on Thursday, December 10th at 5:00pm. We will conclude the clinic with a small tournament on Sunday, December 13th for all the kids who attended the clinic.
There will be a $25.00 fee for all kids attending the clinic, and all participants will take home a medal following Sunday's tournament.
Further details will be announced at the parents meeting on November 19th.
